
I know, she doesn't look too good yet! At this point, I was wondering if I'd be able to pull it off, but that's pretty typical at this stage. As tempting as was to abandon the project, I made myself add another layer...and hoped for the best... (but I still wasn't confident enough about her outcome to post it!) Perhaps it was the skin-tone that threw me--not enough pink.
I adore watching your progress! And your final product is on my WANT list. Is there any way I can purchase a copy?

ReplyDeleteShe is sad, is she not? I'm not exactly sure how you got from the initial painting to this one. Layers, you say? I think she is going to be pretty.
ReplyDeleteShe still is unclothed...not that I object. Artists paint unclothed people all the time.
Actually, she is kinda sad--at least that is one of her layers. She does get happier later on...
