No, It’s Not Done, Step 7:

Just so no one thinks I abandoned this project (you know, on account of the nose, [which is all better]) I thought I’d better post some progress. Actually, I’ve been sick, so that’s why this project is taking so long.

It’s at this point that I wish I had chosen something easier to paint, but now that I have the grass filled in (no, it’s not done yet, either), it doesn’t feel so overwhelming.

  3. I love it. Love her new nose...still love her hat. Love the feeling of warm sun on cool skin I get from seeing here, and I wonder what she was reading. Sorry you have been sick and I hope you are doing better.

  4. Thanks, Liza! Must return to the hat and equal attention to its finishing detail...

  5. I, too, am sorry to hear that you have been sick. Wow. The grass looks alive and I am still impressed with her hair. I wouldn't have known that you botched the nose. Looks great now. And I agree with Liza about the hat. All of the colors are really lovely. I can't wait to see the finished product.

  6. Thans, Robin! It may look as if it's almost done, and I suppose it it, realatively, but it feels as if there's still so much to do...
